⚙️ Calibration Parameters

📖 Step-by-Step Calibration

1. Empty the Scale: Ensure the physical scale is completely empty and nothing is resting on the frame. Power on the Beescale.
2. Connect: Select your target Hive ID from the dropdown (or select "Add Custom ID..." to type a new one) and wait for the tracking status to turn green.
3. Tare (Zero): Click the Tare button. This captures the empty scale's raw ADC value as your zero-point.
4. Add Known Weight: Place a precise known weight (e.g., a 30kg calibration mass) dead center on the scale.
5. Reset Scale: Reset the beescale via the reset button or the power switch to trigger a new measurement.
6. Calculate Scale Factor: In the Scale Calibration Wizard box, type the exact mass of your test weight in kg and click Calculate Scaling. Ensure the live corrected weight now matches your test mass.
7. Save to Database: Add an optional display name, then click the blue Save & Retain to MQTT button to permanently lock in the calibration!
